Mission
A global provider of satellite imagery analytics.
EOS Data Analytics sells satellite imagery analytics for farming and forestry. Its crop monitoring platform turns multispectral imagery into field-level decisions, blending data from more than twenty third-party constellations with imagery from its own satellite, EOS SAT-1, a 178 kilogram imager designed around eleven agriculture-focused spectral bands and launched in January 2023.
The satellite was built by Dragonfly Aerospace, a sister company in Max Polyakov's Noosphere group, and the plan announced in 2022 was a seven-satellite constellation, fully operational by 2025, watching up to twelve million square kilometres of farmland daily. Owning purpose-built agricultural satellites was to be the moat under the analytics.
The constellation stopped at one. As of mid-2026 no second satellite has launched and no revised schedule has been published, so the daily-revisit promise stands unmet and the analytics still run mostly on purchased data. The software business is real and the customer stories keep coming, though most trace to the company's own channels, and the group around it has drawn scrutiny of its own: US regulators required its founder to sell his stake in Firefly Aerospace.
